Pico da Vigia
About the Accommodation
Pico da Vigia is a farm that combines tourist component with the everyday life of an agricultural space.
Set in a rural parish, but peripheral to city of Angra do Heroísmo, it is assumed as a real refuge involved in comfort, quality and a sophisticated rurality. The houses are coated with traditional stone volcanic basalt, that beyond aesthetics, provide an excellent thermic behavior. The breakfast is served in each of the quarters, without schedule limitation. All houses have a wood oven which also can be used as fireplace, and benefit from a private garden of approximately 10763 Sq Ft, with fantastic view to the nearby island of São Jorge, Pico and Graciosa, and only the sea is in the middle.
Each traditional fitment is unique and made out of noble wood, interacting with pieces designed by arqto Siza Vieira, who designed two of this specifically for this project.
