Cologne Christmas Market: Germany's Rising Star

This Yes Getaways package includes round-trip flights into Cologne and out of Frankfurt, airport transfers on both ends, the train ticket between Cologne and Frankfurt, and 7 nights of hotel accommodation (5 nights in Cologne, 2 nights in Frankfurt). Meals, train transfers, city taxes, and market extras such as food and mulled wine are not included.

This package is built around Cologne's Christmas markets specifically, five nights are enough to see all the city's different markets at a relaxed pace, rather than rushing through them in two or three days. Frankfurt's two nights work as an easy, low-effort way to close the trip before flying home, its own Christmas market and old town are worth seeing, but the focus of this itinerary stays on Cologne.

Round-trip flights are included in the package. Other departure cities are available on the calendar or on request. The package price depends on the selected airport. Seat selection, extra baggage, and cabin class upgrades are not included in the package price but can be arranged as paid add-ons, subject to availability.

Yes. The train ticket between Cologne and Frankfurt, approximately 1 hour, is included in the package. You'll travel in the highest available class, though availability varies by date, if that class sells out or it's not available, the Yes Getaways team will present the best alternative.

Germany is part of the Schengen Area. US and Canadian passport holders do not currently need a visa for stays up to 90 days. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date. ETIAS is not yet mandatory, when it becomes mandatory we will notify you in advance. Germany has no active travel advisories, and entry requirements can change, it is the traveler's responsibility to confirm current requirements before departure.

⚠️ Please note that entry into the United Kingdom requires an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) for many visa-exempt travellers, including eligible U.S. and Canadian citizens. If your itinerary includes arrival in, departure from, or a transit or layover through the United Kingdom, you may be required to obtain an ETA before travel. Entry requirements can change, and it is the traveler's responsibility to verify current visa, passport, and transit requirements before departure through their government's official travel advisory website.

There's no fixed deposit. To confirm your booking, you can either pay in full at once or set up an installment plan, which requires an initial payment to secure your spot. The first payment amount depends on the package value and your travel dates. Contact the Yes Getaways team to arrange installments. 

The land portion of your package is refundable if cancelled at least 14 days before your travel date. Airfare is non-refundable from the moment it is issued, but the Yes Getaways team will always check with the airline to explore options.
