• Leaving the zesty scents of Seville and Spain, behind, head to the golden landscapes of the Alentejo region in Portugal, and enjoy the scenic drive. You can stop on the way connect with locals, and try some local specialties on your way to Évora (a 3.5 hours drive from Seville). Once you arrive, explore Évora's Cathedral, the Roman Temple, and the incredible Chapel of Bones (Capela dos Ossos). Treat yourself to a delicious Portuguese dinner and spend the night in Évora.

Suggestions for the day: Lisbon's Labyrinth of Culture and Cuisine

• Leave Évora behind and drive to Lisbon (1h30 drive), where you'll be greeted by the seafaring charm of the Portuguese capital. Embark on a sightseeing walk around the city. Go to Terreiro do Paço, the largest square in Lisbon. You can dive into culture at the UNESCO-listed Jerónimos Monastery. This remarkable site showcases the splendor of 16th-century Manueline architecture and art, providing a captivating glimpse into Portugal's cultural legacy. To end your day in the best way possible, you can participate in a traditional Fado experience, a heartfelt traditional Portuguese music.

Suggestions for the day: Lisbon's Luminous Legacy and Vibrant Vistas

• Take the day to explore more of this wonderful city! Relax at a sidewalk café with creamy pastéis de nata, and climb to the Castle of São Jorge. It is the highest point in the city, set amongst the most typical neighborhoods. Wander through time in the narrow streets of Alfama, ride the iconic Tram 28E, or delight your senses in the lively bars and restaurants of Bairro Alto.

Suggestions for the day: Porto's Riverside Romance and Cultural Charms

• Drive to Porto (3h drive). There, marvel at Ribeira’s district view of the old houses appearing to be on top of each other, the D. Luis I cast iron bridge, and colorful Rabelo boats that made this area recognized as world heritage by UNESCO. You can join one of the fantastic Douro River Cruises.
• Wine tasting at the Port Wine Cellars is another must while visiting Porto. You can explore the Bolhão Market and Santa Catarina Shopping Street or even get a book from “The Most Beautiful Bookshop in the World” - Lello’s Bookshop. Spend the night in Porto. 
• Pro tip: On your way to Porto, consider leaving Lisbon early and take some time to explore other incredible places in Portugal like Sintra, Cascais, Nazaré, or Aveiro along the way - (our personal favorite is Sintra - the fairytale village)!

Suggestions for the day: Salamanca's Golden Grandeur and Academic Aura

• Leave Portugal, and travel to the historic Spanish city of Salamanca (3h45 min drive) with its golden-hued façades and ancient university heritage, where your first stop should be for a coffee in Plaza Mayor. Explore Salamanca's Cathedral and count the shells on Casa de las Conchas. While exploring the city, make sure you also take a walk around the university campus.

Suggestions for the day: Toledo's Timeless Treasures and Walled Wonders

• Head to Toledo (2h40 drive from Salamanca). On the way, you can stop in the walled city of Ávila, the city of Saint Teresa of Ávila. After arriving in Toledo, you can visit the church of Santo Tomé, home to one of El Greco's most famous paintings – 'The Burial of the Count of Orgaz' and the former Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca. It is also interesting to witness local craftsmen at work creating inlaid steel the traditional way. Stay the night in Toledo.
