Yes Getaways includes a standard small or economy manual car for the full 6-night road trip. If you prefer an automatic or a larger vehicle, a paid upgrade is available based on availability. Yes. Ireland drives on the left side of the road, which can take some getting used to for North American travelers. Most people adapt quickly, especially on quieter rural roads. The main challenges are roundabouts and narrow country lanes. Take it slow for the first hour and you will be fine. Automatic upgrades are available if you want one less thing to think about.

Yes Getaways offers a wide range of hotels across Dublin, Galway, and Killarney, from 3-star and well-reviewed boutique properties to 5-star options including The Marker Hotel, Glenlo Abbey, and Muckross Park Hotel and Spa. Meals are not included. Breakfast is not guaranteed, but can be prioritized on request when booking with the Yes Getaways team. Ireland has excellent food options along the route, from traditional pub lunches in Galway to seafood on the Ring of Kerry.

No guided experiences are included in the base package. This is a fully independent self-drive road trip. Yes. Ireland is one of the safest countries in Europe for North American travelers. Dublin, Galway, and Killarney are all welcoming, well-touristed destinations. Standard city precautions apply in busy areas of Dublin city center. Rural driving on the Ring of Kerry and The Burren is safe but requires attention on narrow roads.

Late spring (May to June) and early fall (September to October) offer the best conditions, with mild temperatures, green landscapes, and fewer crowds than peak summer. July and August are the busiest and most expensive months but offer the warmest weather. Winter is quiet and atmospheric but some rural roads and attractions may have limited hours.
