Visit the enchanting Villa Rufolo in Ravello, famous for its stunning gardens and panoramic views of the coastline. Enjoy leisure time to relax on one of the pristine beaches or take a boat tour to explore the hidden coves and grottos along the coast.

Enjoy a scenic drive that spans approximately 3 hours and covers a distance of 300 kilometers (186 miles). Make your way to Rome.

Suggestion for the day: On your way from the Amalfi Coast to Rome you can make a stop in the historical city of Pompeii

• Step back in time as you wander through the well-preserved ruins of this ancient Roman city, frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Once in Rome take the rest of the day to explore your hotel facilities and surrounding areas.

For the second day in Rome, let us help you book (in advance) one of the guided tours - Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill Walking Tour. With priority entrance and complimentary headsets, your experienced guide will lead you through the archaeological wonders of Rome's ancient past.

• Check out the “Orange garden”. It is located on one of the “7 hills of Rome”. Enjoy the sunset view!  
• If you walk along Via di Santa Sabina Street to the southwest, you will get to the Cavalieri di Malta Square (Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta). It was built by Giovan Battista Piranesi in 1765. You can legally indulge in peeping through the keyhole installed at the entrance door to the Villa dei Cavalieri. Through the hole, you can see the dome of St. Peter’s Cathedral (Basilica di San Pietro) in all its glory!
• It’s easy to move around using a “city bus” if you don’t want to trouble yourself with parking around some crowded spots
• To find good restaurants near you can use “Tripadvisor”

Suggestion for the day: Another Day to Explore Rome

• In the morning we recommend a guided tour of the Vatican City (let us help with that!) Meet your knowledgeable guide at a designated location and embark on a fascinating journey. Make sure it includes the Vatican Museums, the Sphere within a Sphere sculpture, the breathtaking Sistine Chapel, and the awe-inspiring St. Peter's Basilica.
• After your tour, take a short walk to Castel Sant'Angelo before crossing the Tiber River and venturing into the heart of Ancient Rome. If you'd like further guidance, consider booking an afternoon tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum.  Spend the rest of your day exploring iconic landmarks like the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, sipping an espresso in Piazza Navona, and climbing the Spanish Steps.
