The Croatia road trip by Yes Getaways includes 14 nights: 2 nights in Zagreb, 1 night at Plitvice Lakes, 3 nights in Zadar, 3 nights in Split, 3 nights in Dubrovnik, 1 night in Šibenik and 1 final night in Zagreb. Round-trip flights, hotels, a rental car for the full trip, taxes and fees related to booking, and an expert trip manager are all included. Meals, experiences and other transfers are not included.

Yes. Round-trip flights are included, flying into and home from Zagreb. Other departure cities are available on request: contact the Yes Getaways team before booking. Seat selection, extra baggage and cabin upgrades are not included in the package price, but the team can arrange them as paid add-ons, subject to availability.

One rental car is included for the whole trip, picked up and returned at Zagreb Airport. If you prefer a larger car or an automatic, a paid upgrade is available based on availability: contact the Yes Getaways team when booking. A valid U.S. or Canadian driver's license is accepted in Croatia.

Your hotels have parking on site or nearby, but parking is not always free and the cost is not included in the package price. Dubrovnik's old town is closed to cars and the center of Split is mostly pedestrian, so plan to park and walk there. Croatian motorways have tolls, which are not included; you pay at the toll booths by card or cash. If free parking is a priority, let the Yes Getaways team know when booking.

This package includes hotels selected by the Yes Getaways team in Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik and Šibenik, mostly 3-star to 5-star, properties we work with regularly and know well. Some are in the old towns and others a short drive away, which works well when you have a car.

Breakfast is not guaranteed. It can be added during the booking process, when available for your hotel and dates, or prioritized on request with the Yes Getaways team. Other meals are not included, which leaves you free to try the konobas and seafood places along the coast.

No. You pick up your rental car at Zagreb Airport when you arrive and return it there before your flight home, so you do not need a transfer. If you would like help with your arrival, contact the Yes Getaways team.

No guided experiences are included in the base package: this is an independent self-drive trip. Optional tours are available in Zagreb, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik, including walking tours, a private Zagreb tour with breakfast and kayaking in the Mrežnica Canyon. U.S. and Canadian citizens do not need a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days in Croatia, which is part of the Schengen Area. Your passport should be valid for at least 3 months after your departure date. The EU is introducing ETIAS, an online travel authorization for visitors who do not need a visa, so check the official EU websites before you travel. Yes. Croatia is one of the safest countries in Europe and welcomes millions of visitors every year. The cities on this route, Zagreb, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik and Šibenik, are used to travelers and easy to explore on your own. Standard precautions apply in busy areas during the summer months.

Croatia uses the euro. Cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops, but it is useful to carry some cash for small konobas, markets and some parking meters.

A few things first-time visitors find useful. Dubrovnik's old town is car-free, so you park outside the walls. In Split, the old town is built inside a 1,700-year-old Roman palace. Plitvice Lakes is busiest around midday, so go early. And thanks to the Pelješac Bridge, you drive the whole coast to Dubrovnik without crossing a border.
