The Yes Getaways Amsterdam Discovery package includes round-trip flights, 7 nights of hotel accommodation in Amsterdam, 7 included guided experiences (one per day), airport transfers on arrival and departure, and all taxes and fees related to the booking. Breakfast, meals, and city taxes are not included. All 7 experiences have their own meeting points and none include hotel pickup, except the Brussels and Bruges full-day tour which includes transport from a central meeting point in Amsterdam.

• Day 1 — Amsterdam Evening Canal Cruise (1 hour): A 1-hour evening cruise through the UNESCO-listed canal belt passing the Anne Frank House, Skinny Bridge, and Westerkerk. Audio guide included in 19 languages. Departures run from 5 PM to 10 PM depending on season. Meeting point: Prins Hendrikkade 25, Amsterdam.

• Day 2 — Small Group Walking Tour (2.5 hours): Meeting point: Beursplein 1, 1012, Amsterdam, in front of Café Bistro next to the bull statue. Your guide will be waiting with a blue umbrella or a sign with the Amsterdam Guides & Tours logo.

• Day 3 — City Canal Cruise and Rijksmuseum (75-minute cruise + museum): A 75-minute canal cruise followed by entry to the Rijksmuseum. Museum entry time is fixed at booking and cannot be changed. Meeting point: Museumstraat 1, 1071 XX Amsterdam.

• Day 4 — Volendam and Windmills Half-Day Tour (5 hours): A guided excursion to Zaanse Schans windmill village and Volendam fishing town, with cheese tasting included. Meeting point: Stationsplein 4, 1012 AB Amsterdam (Central Station area).

• Day 5 — Anne Frank Walking Tour (2 hours): A 2-hour guided walk through Amsterdam's Jewish Quarter tracing the story of Anne Frank and WWII occupation. Meeting point for English tours: Nieuwe Amstelstraat 1 at the entrance to the Jewish Museum.

• Day 6 — Brussels and Bruges Full-Day Tour (16 hours): A full-day guided excursion to Brussels and Bruges in Belgium covering Grand-Place, Manneken Pis, Markt Square, and Bruges' medieval canals. Transport included from Amsterdam. Food and drinks not included. Not wheelchair accessible. Meeting point: De Ruijterkade 151, 1011 AC Amsterdam.

• Day 7 — Red Light Secrets Museum: Entry to the world's first museum of prostitution, housed in a 17th-century canal house in the Red Light District. An informative and educational look at the history of the neighborhood. Meeting point: Red Light Secrets Museum

No hotel pickup is included for any of the 7 experiences. All tours have meeting points in central Amsterdam that are reachable on foot, by tram, or by taxi from the hotels in this package. The Brussels and Bruges full-day tour includes transport from its central Amsterdam meeting point to Belgium and back. Full meeting point details and timings are confirmed in your voucher before travel.

When your City Canal Cruise and Rijksmuseum ticket is booked, a specific entry time slot for the Rijksmuseum is allocated. This time cannot be changed after booking. Plan your day around the confirmed time slot. 

Yes, round-trip flights are included. The package price varies depending on your departure airport. Other departure cities are available on the package page and additional options are available on request. Flight upgrades to premium economy or business class are available on most packages, subject to availability. Contact the Yes Getaways team when booking and we will quote the upgrade cost for your specific flights.

Checked luggage is not always included and depends on the airline and fare type in your package. You can confirm what is included and add luggage during the booking process. The Yes Getaways team is always available to help if you prefer to arrange it with us directly.

The package includes a 3-star hotel as standard, with upgrades to 4 or 5-star available on the booking process. The package price varies depending on the hotel selected. Most properties are centrally located. Exact options are shown when you click a date in the booking calendar and proceed to the next step. Other options are available on request. 

Breakfast is not included by default but can be added during the booking process. 

No. City taxes are not included and are paid directly at the hotel on arrival or checkout.

Advertised prices reflect availability at the time the promotion was launched. Once those seats or rooms sell out, the price updates to reflect the next available tier. The lower price is genuinely gone and cannot be matched manually. The package price is based on two travelers sharing a room. Solo travelers pay a single supplement. Contact the Yes Getaways team directly and we will make it easy. Amsterdam is accessible year-round. Spring (April to May) is the most popular time, with mild temperatures around 14°C (57°F), tulip season in full bloom, and the city at its most photogenic. Summer (June to August) is warm at around 22°C (72°F), the busiest and most expensive period with long days and lively canal-side atmosphere. Autumn (September to October) is mild at around 16°C (61°F), quieter, and a good time for museums and city exploration. Winter (November to March) is cool at around 5°C (41°F), with Christmas markets and ice skating in December and significantly fewer tourists.

The Netherlands is a stable and safe destination for Canadian and US travelers, with no active conflicts and not affected by the current conflicts in Europe or elsewhere. Normal precautions apply in busy tourist areas.

Canadian and US passport holders do not currently need a visa for the Netherlands or any Schengen Area country for stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your return date. ETIAS, a pre-travel authorization for Schengen Area travel, is not yet mandatory. When it launches, we will contact you in advance.

The land portion of your package is refundable if cancelled at least 14 days before your travel date. Airfare is non-refundable from the moment it is issued, but the Yes Getaways team will always check with the airline to explore options. Travel insurance with cancellation cover is strongly recommended. This summary does not replace the full terms and conditions of your booking.
