1. Day 1 Welcome to Sicily

   

   Welcome to Sicily! Upon landing in Palermo, pick up your rental car and get ready to embark on an unforgettable journey around this breathtaking island.

   Suggestion for the day: Today we suggest you start your adventure by exploring the vibrant streets of Palermo

   • Visit the iconic Palermo Cathedral and the Norman Palace, and immerse yourself in the local culture and history. Don't forget to sample some authentic Sicilian street food as you wander around. Your trip has just begun!
2. Day 2 Palermo

   

   Suggestion for the day: Picturesque town of Taormina and Mount Etna

   • The second day of your Sicilian dream will take you to the picturesque town of Taormina.  The drive will take you approximately 3 hours. The town is known for its ancient Greek theater and stunning views of Mount Etna. Explore the charming streets of Taormina, visit the medieval Corvaja Palace, and take a stroll along Corso Umberto. Visit Mount Etna. Visiting Mount Etna is an adventure that combines natural wonders, geological marvels, and cultural significance. It's an opportunity to witness the extraordinary forces of nature and gain a deeper appreciation for the Earth's fascinating processes. So, put on your explorer's hat and prepare to be captivated by the awe-inspiring beauty of Mount Etna. For the night return to Palermo.
3. Day 3 Palermo

   

   Suggestion for the day: Syracuse: Rich in History and Ancient Greek Ruins

   • On day 3 of your adventure, we suggest you drive to Syracuse, a city rich in history and ancient Greek ruins. The drive from Palermo to Syracuse will take you 3 hours and 15 minutes. Explore the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, where you can visit the Greek Theater, the Ear of Dionysius, and the Roman Amphitheater. Take a walk through the charming streets of Ortigia Island, the historic center of Syracuse, and visit the magnificent Cathedral of Syracuse.
4. Day 4 Palermo

   

   Suggestion for the day: Agrigento and Valley of the Temples

   • Today we suggest you travel back in time and visit Agrigento with the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site. To arrive there you are looking at a 2 hours drive. Explore the impressive ancient Greek temples, such as the Temple of Concordia and the Temple of Juno. You can book one of the guided tours in advance. Take a stroll through the enchanting Kolymbetra Garden.
5. Day 5 Palermo

   

   Suggestion for the day: Explore Monreale

   Today head to the town of Monreale and visit the stunning Monreale Cathedral, famous for its intricate mosaics. Drive from Palermo to Monreale will take you 30 minutes. Here are some of the key highlights in Monreale, Sicily:

   • The Cloisters of the Monreale Cathedral
   • Monte Caputo
   • Belvedere (Panoramic viewpoint)
6. Day 6 Palermo

   

   Suggestion for the day: Relax at the Stunning Beaches of Sicily

   • There is no trip to Sicily without taking a day off to relax at some of Sicily's most beautiful beaches. Two of our suggestions for the beaches are San Vito Lo Capo and Mondello. You can also book a boat tour to breathtaking Isola Bella. 
7. Day 7 Palermo

   

   Suggestion for the day: Last Day Exploring Sicily

   Ahead of you is another day to walk around some of the cities and catch the best views around the island. Treat yourself to some local culinary experiences and enjoy amazing and delicious cuisine. There is something to be found for all foodies and wine lovers out there. Make sure to connect with locals to feel Sicilian culture and vibe.  

8. Day 8 Farewell Sicily

   

   Think about all the new memories and experiences you made! Return your rental car and it is time to say goodbye to Sicily for now. We wish you a safe and pleasant journey home!
