Summer (July–August) is best suited to travellers who want to enjoy Malaga and the Mediterranean coast. Cordoba and Seville can be extremely hot, with temperatures sometimes reaching 35–40°C (95–104°F) or higher during heatwaves.

Autumn (September–October) is another excellent choice, with warm weather and more comfortable conditions for exploring the cities and driving between destinations.

Winter (November–February) brings fewer crowds and generally mild conditions in southern Spain, making it a good option for sightseeing, architecture and gastronomy.
