   Welcome to Madeira Island! Relax and unwind from the moment you arrive. We'll handle your airport transfers on arrival and departure, ensuring your adventure starts and ends seamlessly.

   Suggestion For The Day: Explore Downtown Funchal

   • Take some time to explore the hotel's amenities. Later, spend your first afternoon exploring the vibrant city. Visit the Mercado dos Lavradores, where you can find fresh produce and local specialties. 
   • Explore the city’s historic sites, such as Sé Cathedral (Funchal Cathedral), Museu de Arte Sacra (Museum of Sacred Art), Blandy's Wine Lodge, and Fortaleza de São Tiago (São Tiago Fort).

2. Day 2A Day Trip To The West Coast

   • Start the day in Ribeira Brava, known for rum production. Visit the São Vicente Caves to explore volcanic formations.
   • Head to Seixal for its black sand beach and rock pools.
   • Continue to Porto Moniz for a swim in its famous volcanic pools.
   • In Calheta, relax at the beach, and finish in Ponta do Sol, strolling along its sunny promenade.
3. Day 3Unveiling Madeira's Eastern Delights

   • Explore Eastern Madeira's charming villages, dramatic peaks, and unique landscapes.
   • Begin in Santana, famous for its iconic thatched-roof houses.
   • Visit Machico, Madeira's first capital, and relax at Machico Bay.

   • End at Ponta de São Lourenço, a nature reserve with volcanic rock formations and scenic hiking trails.
4. Day 4Levada Adventure (Hiking)

   

   Suggestion For The Day: 

   • Madeira, known as the "hiker's paradise," offers trails for all skill levels. Walk along levadas or scenic mountain paths. The south has easier walks, while the north features challenging treks through mountains and waterfalls.

   Recommended Hikes:

   • Levada do Balcões: A moderate trail through Laurissilva forest (UNESCO site).
     Distance: 7 km (4.3 mi) | Duration: 4-5 hours

   • Levada das 25 Fontes: A moderate walk to waterfalls and lush forest.
     Distance: 6 km (3.7 mi) | Duration: 3-4 hours

   • Vereda do Fanal: A magical trail through an ancient Laurissilva forest.

   After Lunch: Enjoy the Thrill of a Wicker Toboggan Ride

   • Experience the thrill of a traditional wicker toboggan ride from Monte to Funchal. Guided by “carreiros,” this exciting descent offers a blend of adventure and Madeiran heritage, perfect for all ages.
6. Day 6Charming Fishing Villages & Farewell Dinner

   Spend your final day in Madeira exploring Camara de Lobos, a charming fishing village with colorful houses and stunning bay views. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch by the harbor, then return to Funchal for some souvenir shopping, picking up local crafts, Madeira wine, and aguardente rum. End the day with a memorable farewell dinner, toasting to the wonderful experiences of your trip.
