This Yes Getaways package includes 12 nights total: 1 night in a Barcelona hotel before boarding, a 10-night cruise aboard Mariner of the Seas with full board, and 1 night in a Venice hotel after disembarking. Yes. The ship arrives in Ravenna at 5:30 AM on Day 12, and a transfer takes you to your Venice hotel, about 2.5 hours by road (estimated). You have the rest of the day in Venice, including St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge, and a night in the city before your flight home.

Mariner of the Seas was delivered in 2003 as the fifth and youngest ship of the Voyager class, and was refreshed in 2018. At around 139,000 gross tons and about 3,100 passengers at double occupancy, it is smaller than Royal Caribbean's newest ships, but it keeps the class design of the Royal Promenade, an indoor street of shops, bars and cafes.

Mariner of the Seas has three outdoor pools, a spa, a casino, an ice rink, a rock climbing wall, the FlowRider surf simulator and the Perfect Storm waterslides. Evenings bring shows at the Royal Theater, and the Bamboo Room serves tiki-style cocktails.

Yes. Cabin categories on Mariner of the Seas range from interior and oceanview to balcony and suite options. You can select or upgrade your cabin during the booking process, or contact the Yes Getaways team if you have a specific deck, cabin number, or location preference (midship, forward, or aft), and we'll check availability. The package price depends on the cabin type and deck selected.

Full board is included for the cruise portion, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the main dining venues and buffet. Drinks and Wi-Fi are not included, but can be added after booking through the Yes Getaways team or bought directly from Royal Caribbean before sailing or onboard. 

At the hotels in Barcelona and Venice, breakfast is not guaranteed, but it can be prioritized on request.

Yes, gratuities are already included in the package price.

Shore excursions are optional and not included in the package price. They can be booked directly through Royal Caribbean before or during your cruise, or arranged independently at each port. The Yes Getaways team can help arrange tours before departure. Many stops, such as Split, Mykonos and the Old Town of Rhodes, are easy to explore independently, while longer trips like Monreale from Palermo, Lindos from Rhodes or the Acropolis from Piraeus are best booked with a guaranteed return to the ship.

Spain, Italy, Greece and Croatia are all part of the Schengen Area. US and Canadian passport holders do not currently need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. ETIAS is not yet required and the EU has not confirmed a start date, so check the official ETIAS website before you travel. Requirements can change, and it's the traveler's responsibility to confirm current rules before departure.

July and August are the hottest and busiest months, with highs of about 28 to 33°C (82 to 91°F) around the Mediterranean. May, June, September and October are milder, at roughly 20 to 27°C (68 to 81°F), with fewer crowds. Winter is cooler and wetter, at about 8 to 15°C (46 to 59°F), and fewer Mediterranean cruises sail. There's no fixed deposit. To confirm your booking, you can either pay in full at once or set up an installment plan. The website shows a suggested plan split into 2 payments, but Yes Getaways agents will advise on the best option for your dates, and the final payment must be made no later than 100 days before departure.

Travel insurance is not included but strongly recommended for cruise travel. US customers can add Allianz travel insurance directly during the booking flow. Canadian customers will need to arrange travel insurance independently.
